JBI Database, Journal, and Tools Package Renewal 2021-2022

This is year one of a renewed three-year offer that begins in 2021/22 for the Complete JBI Package, consisting of a database, journal, and accompanying tools. The offer includes an opt-out clause so that member institutions can cancel their subscription before the end of the three-year term if cancellation is required due to budgetary issues or changes in local programs.

Flat pricing was negotiated for year 1, with 4% increases in year 2 and year 3. 

New joins are welcome! A new subscriber incentive of 10% discount in year 1 has been negotiated. The upcoming webinar on November 2 will outline the uniqueness of this resource, the incentive and an offer of a 45 day free trial.

Member institutions that are joint members of eHLbc and COPPUL are asked to submit responses to eHLbc.

Changes to the package availability for this renewal are:

  • The Research Package is now available to all sectors.
  • The Tools Add on has been removed for the Health Authority sector. There were no subscribers and the tools are available through the Complete (both Tools) and Research (one Tool) packages.

New Subscriber Incentive

Offer for new subscribers that join prior to December 31, 2021:

  • 10% off the first year pricing before returning to their eHLbc pricing level in the 2022-2023 cycle. 
  • The vendor is offering a 45 day free trial with access ending by December 31, 2021. This will give potential new joins time to assess the resource.
  • The  incentive is for NEW SUBSCRIBERS ONLY, and does not include members who currently subscribe directly billed through Ovid or who are already part of the deal.
  • There will be a webinar on November 2 at 2PM EST/11AM PST. Potential new joins should register for the webinar to hear both about the product, and the incentive. The 45 day trial and the 10% new join incentive will be offered during the webinar.
  • the Webinar is only being offered once but will be recorded and sent to all those that register.
