A new product is being offered this year - Psychotherapy Library. From the vendor: "The Psychotherapy Library is a robust list of curated psychotherapy titles. This collection covers a multitude of topics including cognitive behavior therapy, psychoanalysis, mentalizing, and more—all within a single search and navigation interface that integrates journals and books."

These collections are made available to e-HLbc member institutions through a national site license negotiated on behalf of Consortia Canada. Libraries that are members of BC ELN and COPPUL are asked to send their responses to BC ELN.

Pricing has increased by 4% over last year's pricing; however, due to increased subscriptions the national discount has increased to 20%. This will result in existing subscribers realizing a 1-2% decrease over last year's price.

Updates:

The group participation discount, based on the combined participation of libraries across Canada on any of the collections, is currently set at 20%.

There is a new product being offered this year: The Psychotherapy Library. See below for further details.

Overview

Description:

DSM-5 Library

DSM-5 Library is the most comprehensive, current, and critical resource for clinical practice available to today's mental health clinicians and researchers of all orientations.

DSM-5 is used by health professionals, social workers, and forensic and legal specialists to diagnose and classify mental disorders, and is the product of more than 10 years of effort by hundreds of international experts in all aspects of mental health.

The criteria are concise and explicit, intended to facilitate an objective assessment of symptom presentations in a variety of clinical settings- inpatient, outpatient, partial hospital, consultation-liaison, clinical, private practice, and primary care.

PsychiatryOnline

PsychiatryOnline is a powerful web-based portal that features DSM-5—the most widely used psychiatric reference in the world—and the American Journal of Psychiatry as the cornerstones of an unsurpassed collection of psychiatric references from American Psychiatric Publishing, the most trusted and respected name in psychiatric publishing.

This comprehensive collection covers diagnosis and differential diagnosis, case vignettes to bring abstract concepts to life, multidisciplinary treatment guidelines, the latest research—all within a single search and navigation interface that integrates journals and books.
