Renewal pricing is now available for the American Psychiatric Publishing products. There has been a 4.75-5% increase over last year's pricing due to a large increase in new content.

There are six total options:

  • DSM5 Library – 3 DSM current edition textbooks, and the Spanish Edition of the Desk Reference to the Diagnostic Criteria From DSM‐5
  • Psychiatry Online (POL) Core – DSM5 current edition, Spanish Edition of the Desk Reference to the Diagnostic Criteria From DSM‐5, and 3 journals - American Journal of Psychiatry, Psychiatric Services, and Psychiatric News
  • PsychiatryOnline (POL) Premium – Complete package of current DSM5, books, and journals
  • Psychotherapy Library is available for subscription
  • The American Journal of Psychotherapy is also available as a single title subscription
  • The Introductory Textbook of Psychiatry (7th edition)  is also a single title subscription

Libraries that are members of BC ELN and COPPUL are asked to send their responses to BC ELN. 



Updates: 

APA Publishing is releasing the DSM-5-TR™ on March 18, 2022 and that the title will be available on PsychiatryOnline the same day it is released in print. A customer with an active subscription to a package currently including the DSM-5 (PsychiatryOnline Premium, PsychiatryOnline Core, or the DSM-5 Library), will automatically get access to the DSM-5-TR™ when it goes live on PsychiatryOnline. Additionally, the DSM-5 will also remain live on PsychiatryOnline in these packages when the DSM-5-TR™ is added. A significant amount of new content will be joining the packages in the coming year. Below are the confirmed updates for 2022:

From the license:  “In the event that Licensee does not renew a subscription, journal content from PsychiatryOnline will be available to licensee on a rolling 12-month embargo basis. Thus, if licensee does not renew after December, journal content from the previous 12 months and going back to January 1997 shall be available to licensee. Non-journal content from PsychiatryOnline shall not be available to licensee after non-renewal or cancellation. Perpetual access applies to journal content only.”
