eHLbc Orientation Course
Are you new to eHLbc, moving into a new role at your organization, or just looking for a refresher on what eHLbc does? If so, the eHLbc Orientation Course is for you.
While each member organization interacts with eHLbc in a unique way, the orientation course gives you the foundational information you need to understand the consortium, its services, where your organization fits in, and how you can contribute.
This self-paced course offers an introduction to:
- Library consortia
- What they are, what they do, and eHLbc’s place in the broader consortial landscape
- The eHLbc consortium
- Including our mission and vision, history, members, funding model, and services
- How members participate
- Consortial licensing, training and support, eHLbc governance, and more
Designed to take less than an hour, the course includes activities to reflect and explore the eHLbc website, and has an optional quiz to test your knowledge.
