eHLbc is currently experiencing intermittent delays/outages of all email communications and SFU-hosted services Arca and Illume. This is related to intermittent network-wide outages due to concentrated Denial of Service activity on servers at SFU (eHLbc's and BC ELN's host site).

The second of HLABC and eHLbc's Continuing Education events, bringing CHLA 2025 presentations and topics to HLABC and eHLbc membership, will be a paper panel presented by Glyneva Bradley-Ridout and Tyler Ostapyk, and discuss two topics: play in academic libraries and the tool rxstring.ca, which produces search strings containing the various brand names and synonyms used for a particular drug for usage in bibliographic databases.
