Resources for Administrators
As a member of eHLbc you must, after initial training, be able to administer the basics of your vendor administration modules and provide a workable level of technical support and troubleshooting to your patrons. The resources below are recommended to get you started with the different levels of support and training available to administrators. Would you like to suggest additional training resources? Email your suggestions to office@ehlbc.ca!
Types of Administrative & Technical Training Resources:
- Basic (Mandatory) - Administer the authentication & security of eHLbc-licensed resources (EG. Update your IP addresses).
- Intermediate (Recommended) - Customise your resources (EG. Custom search interfaces; Branding; Reports & Statistics).
- Advanced (Optional) - Provide patrons with seamless inter-operability of the resources (EG. Linkresolvers; Title Collections; RSS; A-to-Z journal look-ups).
