June 29, 2023 - Supporting Clinicians with eHLbc EBSCO Resources

Thursday, June 29, 2023 - 11:00am
Online via Zoom

Looking to expand your skills using eHLbc resources for point-of-care clinical reference queries?

This Learning Opportunity for eHLbc member library staff will be presented by Sarah J McKinley, MD, an EBSCO Physician Consultant. Dr. McKinley graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine and has practiced for 20 years in Denver in both academic and community settings. Dr. McKinley is now engaged as a physician leader at EBSCO / Dynamed working on FHIR-enabled clinical decision support tools to reduce clinician burnout, improve patient–provider communication, and support evidence-based care across the continuum of health. She will discuss a case presentation of a patient with an atypical pulmonary infection and review eHLbc resources that can support clinicians at the point of care in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of the case.

There will be time for your questions provided. eHLbc Admin Centre staff will be on hand to answer any questions as well.

This online event will take place from approximately 11:00-11:45 AM Pacific.

Sign up below; registrants will be sent connection details. This session will be recorded and the recording link will be sent to registrants and posted on the Learning Opportunities page (login required).
