The Electronic Health Library of BC provides the academic and health care community of British Columbia with easy access to online health library resources. The purpose of the e-HLbc is to support and improve practice, education, and research in the health sciences.

Members include all publicly funded BC post-secondary institutions providing health education, the BC Ministry of Advanced Education, the BC Ministry of Health, the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development, all BC Health Authorities, the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons, and a number of BC health professional organizations.

    PsycINFO is the world's largest resource devoted to peer-reviewed literature in behavioral science and mental health. Produced by the American Psychological Association (APA), it is an indispensable tool for the discovery of global scholarly research.

    Recent updates to PsycINFO on EBSCOhost include powerful new search limits, like open access and impact statements, new fields that connect content across research platforms, like PubMed’s MeSH terms and NIH clinical trial numbers, and additional information added to the Dissertation field.

    e-HLbc's annual report, the 2015 Year in Review, was released today and is now available on the e-HLbc website.  The report highlights several of e-HLbc's main achievements and activities over the past year, notably the consortium's successful acquisition of Elsevier's Clinical Skills and its expansion to 47 members.  Happy reading!
