The Electronic Health Library of BC provides the academic and health care community of British Columbia with easy access to online health library resources. The purpose of the e-HLbc is to support and improve practice, education, and research in the health sciences.

Member organizations include all publicly funded BC post-secondary institutions providing health education, the BC Ministry of Advanced Education, the BC Ministry of Health, the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development, all BC Health Authorities, and the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons.

    ProQuest and Alexander Street Press today announced that ProQuest acquired Alexander Street Press through its subsidiary R.R. Bowker. Now called "Alexander Street Press, a ProQuest Company," the business will continue to operate under its current president. Alexander Street's video, music, and primary source collections will be available on the ProQuest platform.

    The Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) in August 2015 launched a new interface with a powerful search function for its electronic subscription products, including e-HLbc-licensed e-CPS and e-Therapeutics+. Since the new interface was released, a number of CPhA products have undergone name changes. e-CPS is now called CPS and e-Therapeutics+ is now called RxTx 2.
