The vision of Electronic Health Library of British Columbia (e-HLbc) is to provide the entire British Columbia academic and health care community with province-wide, consistent, high quality, cost-effective, equitable, and easily accessible health library resources that will support and improve practice, education, and research.
e-HLbc has two kinds of member organizations:
- Full Members: comprised of the institutions who founded the consortium in 2006.
- Affiliate Members: is potentially open to any health professional association, post-secondary institution, or health organization in the province.
See the Benefits and Responsibilities for Full Members page for more details about the opportunities and privileges associated with e-HLbc membership. See the Affiliate Membership Benefits page for Affiliate Member benefits and responsibilities. If your institution is not an e-HLbc member, and interested in membership, see the How to Become a Member page for information relating to membership fees and requirements.
e-HLbc does not provide membership to individuals. Practitioners must be associated with members or affiliate member organizations in order to have access to e-HLbc resources.
